With the BIM method, you can identify and solve potential problems on a construction site before you even break ground. The BIM model is an intelligent 3D model of the infrastructure object. It contains not only the infrastructure design, but also all the architectural, technical, physical and functional properties of the planned infrastructure - over the entire life cycle.

At present, changes to the building design are often still necessary for new buildings and infrastructure facilities once construction work has already begun. These subsequent planning changes or inadequate coordination between the parties involved in construction planning and execution cause high workloads, unnecessary costs and ultimately delay the completion of the construction work.

The BIM model is like a digital twin of the building. All information and tools for the planning, construction, coordination and management of an infrastructure come together centrally in the BIM data model and enable an up-to-date view of all project data and steps in every construction phase.
